Coco-Banana

Our Coco-Banana is our latest creation and while it might sound strange to include bananas in a soap recipe, they're actually very good for our skin!

I infused my lye solution with the banana peel then removed the pieces prior to incorporating into the recipe. I also pureed 2 bananas and that is also in the recipe. Once the soap is fully saponified and cured, these ingredients are not visible and just become part of the overall soap....like baking with eggs....you no longer see the egg but you get the benefits of it being in there.

Scented with a tropical coconut type fragrance.

Ingredients: buttermilk, coconut oil, olive oil, tallow, shea butter, castor oil, pureed bananas, yellow clay (color), mineral oxides (color), phthalate free fragrance oil.

Bars are approx 5 ounces
