Cavendish Artisan Soap

Our Cavendish soap has been a highly requested soap for several years now and I finally gave in and worked at creating this bar. The fragrance is a blend of sweet cherry, vanilla and a very sweet tobacco called cavendish tobacco. There is NO tobacco in the soap at all! I wanted to create a variety with colors so I have two different color patterns. One with Australian red clay, turmeric and cocoa powder and one with the red clay. If you have a preference in color just leave a note at checkout.

Cavendish tobacco is tobacco that has been heat treated with fire or steam and then subjected to heavy pressure in order to produce a sweet taste and so the makers of this fragrance set out to create a blend of oils that might come close to what the true tobacco product smelled like. They incorporated the soothing scent of warm vanilla with the sweet fragrance of cherries and then added to that a mild but sweet tobacco fragrance and thus the creation of the unique fragrance used in this soap. It's a soap that you will surprisingly be reaching for more often than you might think.

Ingredients: Buttermilk, coconut oil, olive oil, tallow, shea butter, castor oil, cocoa powder(color), Australian red clay(color),turmeric, kaolin clay, vanilla essential oil, phthalate free fragrance oil.
