About Us

Fetch'N Fly Acres
We are Sue & Steve...relocated to Montgomery, Texas from Connecticut to retire in a warmer climate with no snow! Fetch 'N Fly Acres was born out of my sheer exhaustion of brain storming names for our little homestead. Being that I'm out playing endless games of fetch and frisbee with our labs Marley & Bogie, it came to me that the name had to have something to do with this activity! "Live simply, live well" is our moto here and that is one of the principles that guide all we do. How we live simply here has nothing to do with the trendy minimalism that most would think of. Our definition of simple living is, living free from materialistic world love and what society considers to be of high value and shifting that focus to quality, practical usability and how, what we do here not only enhances our lives but the lives of those we have relationships with .....and those who support our little farm and buy our products. Steve and I love to invest in people's lives, not in abundance of possessions or with glitz and glamor but in being of help to them when needed. Oftentimes our investment in others' lives comes in the form of service but it also comes in the form of quality, practical items and products we make here. We do our best to keep packaging simple yet appealing and opt for a cleaner, more natural appearance. As we invest our time, talent and finances into what goes into our products......that investment over-flows to those who choose to buy them. All of our soaps are made using the age-old method of cold process soap making and in small batches. I love design and have a passion for creating small masterpieces by hand. That love goes into every loaf of soap I make. The goal is to produce products that become must have favorites for all who enjoy and appreciate a more natural way to care for their skin. Each loaf of soap is independently imagined, designed , created and different and special just like God created each of us. We strive to produce soaps that are from natural, healing recipes.... that smell amazing, really work & are nicely packaged in simple and eco-friendly wrappings. We use only the best essential oils, minerals, herbs and botanicals grown here on our farm, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, Shea butter and many more.  About Steve: My husband Steve of 45 years is retired from Barry Builders, INC after 40 years of building custom homes and now works part time as foreman for a Texas based Construction Company. On his days off he can be found gardening, working around the house or creating usable items from recycled materials.  Basically, in a nutshell.....Sue & Steve work joyfully from their small, Montgomery Texas farm and are grateful for the many blessings God places on them.  "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us- yes, establish the work of our hands." ~ Psalm 90:17~
